Matthew Mattei (Resident Musical Director) – Matthew has been involved with Palo Alto Players since 1996 where he played in the pit for their production of Mack and Mabel. Since then, Matthew has either played or musical directed many of the musicals at Palo Alto Players. Some favorites include: Blood Brothers, Aspects of Love, The Boy Friend, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The King and I, and Parade. In 2011, Matthew directed and musical directed the Peninsula Premiere of Sunset Boulevard during the 2010-2011 Season, and had an amazing experience. Matthew has worked with various other bay area theatre groups and loves working with kids. He is often found at rehearsal with his lovable miniature schnauzer, Ben.
