Singing teapots and candlesticks, an evil spell, and an unlikely love story are all part of the magic of Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, an international sensation that has played to more than 35 million people in 13 countries. Based on the Academy Award–winning animated feature, the stage production includes all of the original songs from the movie by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, plus additional gems by Menken and Tim Rice. The whole family will be enchanted by this gorgeous production, featuring stunning costumes and sets, spectacular dance numbers, and, of course, a fairy-tale ending.

ASL-Interpreted Performance
Friday, November 18
An American Sign Language interpreter will be located near the stage at House Left for patrons who are d/Deaf or hard of hearing. Seats marked with an “i” symbol provide the best sight lines to follow the interpretation and the action on stage. We are grateful to Ability Central for their generous grant to improve accessibility for our actors and audience members at this production.

National Princess Day – Come to the show dressed to express your inner princess

We invite anyone and everyone to express themself on National Princess Day by coming to the show dressed as their inner princess — and enjoy some special surprises — exclusively for National Princess Day!

Magical Series Performance
Saturday, November 19 at 2:00 PM
Made possible thanks to the Magical Bridge Foundation, guests of all ages and all abilities are encouraged to attend and experience the joy and magic of a live performance in a more relaxed theater setting. This is the performance to attend if you or any of your family members would benefit from a less traditional theatre experience. You could be a first-time audience member, a family with young children, a community member with disabilities, or simply  want to enjoy this wonderful show one more time!

  • Magical Bridge Kindness Ambassadors and Palo Alto Players Ushers will provide all guests with a kind welcome and assistance as needed. View the visual performance guide here.
  • A designated area in the lobby with activities led by Kindness Ambassadors, for those who may need a break from the live show.
  • All kinds of reactions and expressions will be fully embraced and supported (no one will be shushed!)
  • An atmosphere where audience members feel comfortable entering or exiting the theater during the live performance.
  • Limited seating capacity will allow for extra space and movement.
  • If you benefit from noise canceling headsets, please do bring them.
  • Snacks and refreshments will be provided by the Magical Bridge Foundation.
  • We will provide a mask exemption for patrons unable to wear a mask.
  • A sing-along at the end of the show with the cast!

The full performance lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes with one 15-minute intermission. We welcome you to attend the full show, watch Act 1 only or arrive at 3:15 to watch Act 2 only.
